Charming English by an Italian speaker, his/her chauvinism is showing here: "translating Dante into English is very difficult because the two languages are very different. In any case, nothing can replace the reading of the original text in its original language." http://www.greatdante.net/quots.htm Has all the works in the original Italian. Oh, to have learned Italian as a lad.
